The team governs the enterprise hardware and software asset lifecycle, ensuring compliance, cost discipline, data integrity, and alignment with business priorities.
Partnering across Technology, Procurement, Finance, vendors, and Audit, the team strengthens control, optimizes investment, and supports informed decision-making.
This role combines asset governance, automation, and analytics to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable value. |
| Measurable Strategic Outcomes: |
- Deliver measurable reductions in software and hardware spend through licence rationalization, asset reuse, contract optimization, and demand management.
- Achieve and sustain at least 98% inventory and entitlement data accuracy through regular reconciliation and control monitoring.
- Maintain at least 95% timely completion of asset reviews, renewals, compliance actions, and audit evidence requests.
- Reduce manual effort and processing time by at least 20% through automation and workflow standardization.
- Provide monthly executive dashboards covering utilization, compliance, cost, risk, and optimization actions.
- Track identified savings, risk reduction, and control improvements against agreed annual targets.

| Responsibilities: |
| IT Asset Management & Governance: |
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets, from acquisition through retirement.
- Sustain at least 98% accuracy across inventory, entitlement, ownership, and reconciliation records.
- Drive asset reviews, demand validation, utilization analysis, and cost optimization with service owners, delivering measurable savings through licence rationalization, asset reuse, contract optimization, and demand management.
- Manage licensing compliance, true-ups, and associated risk, maintaining at least 95% timely completion of renewals, compliance actions, and audit evidence requests.
- Deliver monthly executive reporting on utilization, compliance, cost, risk, savings, and optimization actions.
- Maintain asset policies, standards, controls, and operating procedures, tracking control improvements and risk reduction against agreed annual targets.
- Support procurement, renewals, and vendor decisions for IT assets.

| Automation, Development & Process Improvement: |
- Automate asset processes and controls using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Power Automate, and related technologies.
- Reduce manual effort and processing time by at least 20% through automation and workflow standardization.
- Build dashboards and analytics in Power BI and Excel to support management decisions and monthly executive reporting.
- Integrate asset processes with enterprise platforms, including ServiceNow.
- Improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and data quality by eliminating manual and control-sensitive activities.
- Drive continuous improvement across governance, reporting, and operations, with results tracked against agreed annual targets.

| Stakeholder & Vendor Management: |
- Build strategic partnerships across Technology, Procurement, Finance, and service ownership to align asset decisions with business priorities.
- Manage vendor engagement across licensing, contracts, renewals, performance, and compliance, supporting measurable cost and service improvements.
- Coordinate timely, evidence-based responses to internal and external audits, contributing to the 95% completion target for audit and compliance actions.
- Provide data-led recommendations on governance, risk, cost, and optimization, with benefits tracked through executive dashboards.

| Mandatory: |
- Three to seven years of experience in IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, IT Operations, Technology Governance, or IT Procurement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support skills.
- Experience analysing large, complex datasets, with advanced Excel capability.
- Business-level written and spoken English.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional delivery skills.

| Preferred: |
- Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models, including Microsoft 365, Azure, EA, EAS, SCE, and CSP.
- Experience with hardware lifecycle management and ServiceNow ITAM or SAM.
- Experience with Power BI, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and process automation.
- Experience supporting technology risk, compliance, or audit activities.
- Financial services experience and Japanese-language proficiency.
