Job/Group Overview:
Core Corporate Technology team is responsible to meet business needs of various corporate divisions including Legal & Compliance, Human Resources, Corporate services & security.
With regional team presence in Japan, Hong Kong, & Singapore, we work closely with our global counterparts in India, Europe & US and with development team based in offshore location.
In order to support ongoing and upcoming HR projects that aim to optimize the Japan operating model, and establish globally consolidated Nomura HR platforms where possible, Japan HR-IT team will play an important role in working closely with Japan HR users and the global HR-IT team when required.

Responsibilities:
・Work as a member of the global HR-IT team in a PM/Business Analyst role with a primary responsibility to support Japan HR related activities but could also work on globally run projects to help capture Japan specific requirements.
・Liaise with other Nomura IT teams to co-ordinate tasks related to infrastructure configuration, security requirements and integration with other applications.
・Coordination with vendors including the provider of cloud services and partner vendors supporting integration.
・グローバルHR-ITチームのPM/Business Analystとして、日本のHRに関連するプロジェクトに携わることをメインとしながら、日本固有の要件を把握するためにグローバルなプロジェクトグローバルで推進されているプロジェクトにも関与する可能性があります。
・他の野村ITチームと連携し、インフラストラクチャの構成、セキュリティ要件、他のアプリケーションとの統合に関するタスクを調整する。
・クラウドサービスのプロバイダーや統合をサポートするパートナーベンダーを含むベンダーとの調整。

| Technical: |
- Practical working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing)
- Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure and associated technologies (e.g. Networks, Servers, Databases, Data Encryption, SSO, File Transfer, Task Schedulers, etc.)

- Project management experience including creation of documents such as project plan, WBS, risk & issue tracker, project status report etc.
- Business and technical requirement gathering and analysis
- Vendor management experience

- ビジネスとテクニカル要件収集と分析
- ベンダーマネジメント経験

| Communication: |
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Native or near-Native level Japanese and business level English
- Strong communication skill in Japanese is essential for this role to fully capture Japan specific requirements
- 優れた会話、読み書きコミュニケーション能力
- ネイティブかネイティブに近いレベル日本語、ビジネスレベル英語
- 国内特有の要件定義を正確に行うため、高いレベルの日本語でのコミュニケーション能力が必須

| Experience: |
- 5+ years of Technical IT project management
- 5年以上のテクニカルIT PMの役割
|
| <Preferred> |
- Experience of migrating on-premises applications to a cloud solution
- Project management experience on a medium/large sized project (Approx. 1 year+, JPY 100M+)
- Hands-on development and/or scripting language experience
- Experience working in an Investment Bank IT role
- Knowledge of HR business processes and systems
- Knowledge of production support process
