We are the engineering team in Nomura Group, a leading company in the industry having a strong global presence among Japanese financial institutions.
Our mission is to contribute to the promotion of DX in cooperation with Business users, with agile development of "Made in Japan" quality utilizing the latest technology.
Engineers are flexibly involved with a wide variety of in-house development and projects.
Communication within the team is in Japanese and sometimes in English as it is made up of multinational members.

Responsibilities：
■担当業務:
投資銀行部門向けシステムの提案・開発・運用を担うチームに開発者として参画していただきます。
ビジネスユーザーと直接会話をしながら、現場のニーズを直に反映した本当に価値のあるシステムの構築に取り組んでいただきます。
開発手法は、スピードを重視したアジャイル開発を採用しています。
マイクロマネジメントではなく、各チームメンバーが自らタスクを決定し、自律性と責任をもって開発を行っています。
また、ChatGPTなどのAIを使ったアプリケーションの開発等、新しい技術への挑戦も積極的に行っています。
コミュニケーションは主に日本語を利用しますが、海外チームとの協業する際に英語を使う場面もあります。
本職種では、日本語・英語共に利用できる方を募集しております。
■Expected responsibilities:
You will join as a developer in a team responsible for proposing, developing, and supporting systems for Investment Banking department in Japanese.
You will work directly with business users to build truly valuable systems that directly reflect the needs of the field.
Our project management is agile for quick implementation.
Rather than micromanagement, every team member decides their own tasks and develops with autonomy and responsibility.
We are also actively taking on the challenge of new technologies, such as developing applications using AI such as ChatGPT.
We mainly use Japanese for communication, but there are times when we use English when collaborating with overseas teams.
For this position, we are looking for people who can use both Japanese and English.

- 証券関連のシステム開発経験（３年以上）
- 高いコミュニケーション能力
