Function Overview：
Nomura is searching for a Business Intelligence technology engineer that will be part of our global BI platform team and help drive BI platform strategies.
The candidate will be located in Tokyo, Japan and will be a member of Global Database, Middleware and Business Intelligence (DBMW) function, with focus on Business Intelligence Engineering, Automations and Support.
Nomura is looking for someone keen to make an impact on BI technologies through cloud adoption and automation. The candidate will continuously contribute various strategies across BI technologies, with the objective to continuously keep pace with the fast evolving technology industry.

| 2) Responsibilities |
- Be an Independent contributor for managing BI Products used within organization namely Informatica, BusinessObjects and PowerBI
- Engineer frameworks and Automate processes along with Production support for BI Products and Platform services.
- Strategize, Engineer and Automate various BI platforms and services Provide Product consultancy service on BI products.
- Vendor management for enhancements, fixes and issue resolution

Requirements
|
Requirements：
＜Mandatory＞
・At least 5 years of relevant experience
・Experience in one of 2 below, and interested to learn the other
1. Product engineering and administration of BI products (primarily Informatica, Power BI and Business Objects)
2. Experience in Automation and Automation tools: Python, Ansible
・Strong exposure to working on Linux Platform.
・Good English communication skills. Ability to communicate in Japanese is a significant plus.
・Self-motivated, Quick and Eager to Learn and develop. |

＜Preferred＞
・Additional knowledge of products within the BI stack (Tableau, Qlik) is an advantage.
・Working knowledge of any RDBMS.
・Knowledge of using and developing API.
・Experience in any infrastructure support.
・Demonstrate an ability to work well in a high pressure and technically challenging environment, as part of a team and on their own when required. |
