Job Overview:
This role sits within the Wholesale Production Services team, supporting Front Office Trading Systems for our Global Markets Business. Our team works closely with Business and other IT groups to provide high quality support for trading and settlement systems used by our Wholesale business.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with both our internal users and external partners, demonstrating our commitment to resolving any queries and issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Investigate and promptly resolve any system issues to maintain high levels of efficiency and minimize any potential risks.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and stability of our processes and systems through proactive monitoring and preventative measures, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with our development teams to safely and reliably manage change to our live environment, ensuring seamless integration of updates and enhancements.
  • Implement effective issue management strategies, including accurate tracking and follow-up in accordance with well-defined processes, to continuously enhance the quality of our services.
  • Willingness to work flexible shift based hours, including early mornings or late evenings, and some weekends, to ensure the smooth operation of our local business.

Requirements
Requirements:

<Qualification>
・Degree holder or above
<Experience>
・2+ years in a Trading System Support role involving live system operations, maintenance, and communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is desirable.
<Language>
・Fluent written and spoken English
・Japanese skills would be beneficial for the role
<Technical and Business Skills>
・Programming/Scripting − Python, Perl/Shell Script or similar language
・Linux/UNIX Server and Networking fundamentals
・Databases − SQL experience with any DB system
<Soft Skills>
・Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
