Our mission is to contribute to the promotion of DX in cooperation with Business users. Engineers are flexibly involved with a wide variety of in-house development and projects. Communication within the team is in Japanese and sometimes in English as it is made up of multinational members.

The Digital Tools Hub team is a group of Digital and Data CoE, acting as a hub between Business and IT to ensure everyone at Nomura can find and use the tools they need to do their job as efficiently as possible.
デジタル・ツール・ハブチームはデジタル及びデータCoEに属し、ビジネスとITを繋ぐ役割として機能し、野村グループで仕事をする人が、誰でも仕事上で必要なツールを見つけ、効率よく活用できるようにします。

- 日本、香港、シンガポールにチームを配置し、インド、欧州、米国のグローバルパートナーおよび海外拠点の開発チームと緊密に連携しています。
- 野村グループは2026年に新本社ビルに移転します。このプロジェクト（新オフィスの背景にあるコンセプト）をサポートし、可能な限りグローバルに統合された野村のプラットフォームを確立するために、日本のITチームは日本の CRESユーザーとグローバルITチームと緊密に連携する重要な役割を果たします。
- Core Corporate Technology team is responsible to meet business needs of various corporate divisions including Legal & Compliance, Human Resources, Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES).
- With regional team presence in Japan, Hong Kong, & Singapore, we work closely with our global counterparts in India, Europe & US and with development teams based in offshore location.
- Nomura is moving to a new headquarters building in 2026 and, in order to support this project, the concept behind the new office, and establish globally consolidated Nomura platforms where possible, the Japan IT team will play an important role in working closely with Japan CRES users and the global IT team.

Responsibilities：
|
- 日本のCRESチームと緊密に連携し、新本社ビルプロジェクトではCRES ITの代表として、新オフィスで使用される可能性のあるさまざまなワークプレーステクノロジについて、技術的な分析を提供します。例えば、IoT占有センサー、スマートサウンドマスキング、デジタルツイン、デジタルサイネージ、ロボティクス。
- 他の野村ITチームと連携し、インフラストラクチャの構成、セキュリティ要件、他のアプリケーションとの統合に関するタスクを調整します
- システムのエンジニアリング、導入、サポート、維持管理
- Work closely with Japan CRES team and represent CRES IT on the new headquarters building project by providing technical analysis on various workplace technologies that may be used in the new office, such as IoT Occupancy Sensors, Smart Sound Masking, Digital Twins, Digital Signage and Robotics.
- Liaise with other Nomura IT teams to co-ordinate tasks related to infrastructure configuration, security requirements and integration with other applications
- System engineering, deployment, support and maintenance

●テクニカル・Technical:
− 以下の事項に関する実践的な知識と経験：
Practical working knowledge of the following:
・ソフトウェア開発サイクル（分析、設計、開発、検証等）
・スクリプト言語 （PowerShell、Bash、Pythonなど）
・SQLクエリとストアドプロシージャ
・The software development life cycle (SDLC)
・Scripting languages e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python
・SQL queries and stored procedures
− 一般的なITインフラストラクチャテクノロジーの理解（ネットワーク、サーバー、データベース、ファイル転送、ジョッブスケジューラ等）
Understanding of common IT Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Networks, Application Servers, Databases, File Transfer, Task Schedulers, etc.)
●コミュニケーション・Communication:
・英語と日本語の両方での優れた会話、読み書きのコミュニケーション能力
・物事を明確に説明できる優れた対人能力
・Strong spoken and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
・Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to explain things clearly
●その他・Other:
・導入までの新しいテクノロジーを学習する意欲
・問題を調査し、解決策を提供する能力
・Willingness to learn new technologies through to implementation
・Ability to investigate issues and provide resolution
●経験年数・Years of experience:
・5年以上のテクニカルの役割
・5+ years of experience in a technical IT role

- Knowledge of workplace technologies such as IoT Occupancy Sensors, Smart Sound Masking, Digital Twins, Digital Signage, Robotics, etc.
- Practical working knowledge of source control and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub, Ansible etc.
