Job/Group Overview:

Responsibilities:
The Automation Services Operation team is responsible for supporitng the ServiceNow platform acrosss Nomura Group Companies. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the global team to provide support for the ServiceNow platform to Japanese and Global stakeholders. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to think critically and problem solve and a good understanding of ITIL processes. The Automation Services Operation team in Japan is expected to work a Japan business day and on some weekends (based on a rota)

Requirements:
Mandatory
  • Total years of experience : 5-7 years
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Bilingual − Japanes and English (mandatory)
  • Strong technical background with 3+ years experience, preferably in ServiceNow Development / Production support
  • Experience working with Servicenow ITSM /CMDB
  • Working experience with some or all of the following technologies: Java script ,GlideAjax, script includes , UI policies, RESTAPI, workflows, email notifications, business rules, reports and gauges, scheduled jobs, background scripts, server and client scripts, access controls, import sets and migration of update sets between different environments of ServiceNow
  • Experience designing and engineering custom solutions/applications in ServiceNow
Preferred
  • Handson experience in ServiceNow instance upgrades and scheduled maintenance activities
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Passionate in providing high quality customer service and learning new technologies
  • Strong and confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to take the initiative to investigate and follow-up with various stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Solid understanding of release, deployment, and change management processes
  • Self-motivated individual, quality and improvement focused
