The Core Corporate Technology team collaborates with Corporate Divisions including Legal, Compliance, Human Resources (HR), Internal Audit (IA) and Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) to deliver and support technology solutions. The Japan based team is part of a global team with a presence in Europe, US, Asia Excluding Japan, and an offshore team in India.
In this role within Core Corporate Technology, the individual will be involved in managing the technology needs for the Global and Regional Japan CRES division. Our current focus is on the large-scale rollout of workplace technology solutions in Japan and the transition to a stable “business as usual” state. Additionally, we are managing several mid-size initiatives and ongoing support activities with a small team and in partnership with vendors and counterparts in other regions.

Responsibilities: |
- Partnering with Global CRES stakeholders including at Department Heads level to define and execute technology strategy.
- Managing delivery of Global CRES technology program
- Collaborate with the development team to help define technology solutions and provide oversight during all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Partnering with support teams to ensure ongoing stability of technology systems.
- Communication with and management of various vendor resources and service providers
- Collaborate with counterparts and stakeholders in other regions and in different time zones.
- Interact with teams including support services, infrastructure, IT security & governance, Internal Audit and other application support teams for various initiatives.
- Supporting the development of a diverse global team of permanent employees and contractors through mentorship and coaching
- Planning and managing financials for the function

Qualifications Required:
・University degree or equivalent experience
Skills and Experience:
・Experience required
−Global technology program and delivery management with execution of mid to large size projects
−People management experience, including mentoring and coaching team members.
・Skills required
−Business level Japanese & English language skills
−Effective communication and coordination skills
−Vendor and stakeholder management
−Effective people management skills for leading a geographically distributed team.
−Technical knowledge to understand Infrastructure, IT Governance and Security considerations.
Skills and Experience (Desirable):
−Implementation of workplace technology solutions like room and desk booking system, building access management, environment sensors, dashboards
−Experience in managing SaaS platform and familiarity with cloud technologies.
−Exposure to Agile project execution frameworks
−Exposure to emerging technologies
−Technology architecture and design best practices |
