Role Overview:
As a VM Operations Policy Scanning Engineer for the Desktop Environment, you will be responsible for conducting security policy scans of desktop environments against CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks. You will play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities, recommending improvements, and ensuring that our desktop infrastructure aligns with industry standards to maintain a secure environment. |

Key Responsibilities: |
- Conduct regular policy scans of desktop environments, ensuring compliance with CIS benchmarks.
- Analyze scan results and generate detailed reports, identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas of non-compliance.
- Collaborate with the desktop engineering team to implement remediation measures and configuration changes.
- Assist in the development of automation tools to streamline policy scanning and reporting processes.
- Stay updated on CIS benchmark changes and other relevant security policies and ensure that scans reflect current standards.
- Work closely with the Vulnerability Management team to integrate desktop environment policies into broader security initiatives.
- Provide technical support for addressing compliance issues related to desktop configurations.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting related to desktop security policies.

Requirements: |
◇ Required Skills |
- Familiarity with CIS benchmarks, particularly for desktop environments (e.g., Windows, macOS).
- Strong administrator knowledge in Windows Desktop OS
- Basic understanding of vulnerability scanning tools and technologies.
- Experience in desktop management or desktop security in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices for desktop configurations and policies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret scanning results and recommend actions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

◇ Preferred Skills |
- Experience with vulnerability management or compliance tools like Rapid7, Tenable, Qualys, or similar.
- Exposure to scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Understanding of network security principles and IT infrastructure in a financial or highly regulated environment.

◇ Language skills |
- Japanese language proficiency is highly desirable.
- Candidate must be fluent in English.
