The IT Infrastructure department is responsible for providing Core Infrastructure and Workspace services to the global organisation. As a function within the IT Infrastructure department, Platform Delivery Management oversees the Infrastructure book of work and provides governance and accountability across major projects and programs.
The Platform Delivery Management team is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager who will engage with platform and service owners to ensure effective delivery of projects and services. This role encompasses technology domains including datacenter, networks and server infrastructure as well as end user technologies across desktop, mobile and collaboration. |

Responsibilities：
As a Senior Project Manager focused on IT Infrastructure, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include: |
- Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to gather and understand their infrastructure needs, translating them into actionable project requirements
- Define project scope, set timelines, and oversee budgets while ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Manage end-to-end project execution for regional and global initiatives, ensuring they meet defined objectives and deliverables. Identify potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
- Facilitate collaboration among project resources, including IT Infrastructure teams, application developers, and business units, to foster a cohesive project environment.
- Create and disseminate clear communication materials that outline project progress, key milestones, and changes in plans
- Establish and chair steering committees as necessary, leading regular update meetings to promote accountability and alignment among stakeholders
- Advocate for and communicate the value of Nomura’s infrastructure services, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and aligned with our capabilities

Requirements

| ＜Mandatory skills＞ |
- 5+ years in Project Management roles relating to infrastructure technology delivery in a global organisation
- Business level English and Japanese language proficiency (written and verbal)
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with senior management (including SMD, Board members etc.)
- High efficiency in Microsoft 365 Applications, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
- Organised, able to evaluate and manage priorities, able to handle an ever-changing environment
- Proactive and strong sense of ownership to see tasks through completion
- Logical, analytical and pragmatic thinking to deliver value added solutions to the business

| ＜Preferred skills＞ |
- Experience working in a financial services organization
- Infrastructure domain knowledge of one or more technologies within datacenter, core services or end-user services
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices and regional compliance requirements
- Formal PM Certification (e.g. PMI PMP, Prince2)
- ITIL Certification
