■ Department overview
Nomura has a robust global Information Security department dedicated to protecting Nomura from threats and ensuring the security of our digital assets. Our team is composed of experts in information security who work tirelessly to stay ahead of evolving risks, members of which are located in all of its major regions, namely Japan, Americas, India, Asia Excluding Japan (AeJ) and EMEA. This role will report directly to the Global Head of Information Security Governance and Optimization in London. However, you will have a dotted line to the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) located in Japan. In addition, you will be part of the regional CISO team consisting of Japanese and international security experts led by the Japan CISO.

Responsibilities：
As a member of the team that manages project promotion, you will coordinate with each IT related department of the Nomura Group and implement project promotion for the Japan CISO team.
In project promotion, you are expected to use the best governance for the project, taking into account the Nomura Group's global standards (security and architecture).
In addition, as a project manager, you are expected to play a role in achieving the project objectives in accordance with the project management methods specified in PMBOK, such as scope, schedule, methods to maintain quality, management of necessary resources, project cost forecast management, risk management, and overall communication management, and perform various management tasks to achieve the goals. You are also expected to play a role in establishing trust and cooperation with stakeholders as well as project team members. Due to changes in the surrounding environment, you are expected to manage projects with flexible scope change management, change the organizational model as the operating model changes, and understand various software development techniques (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
プロジェクトの推進を管理するチームの一員として、野村グループの各IT関連部門と調整しながら、Japan CISOチームのプロジェクト推進を実施いたします。
プロジェクトの推進においては、野村グループのグローバル標準（セキュリティやアーキテクチャ）を考慮し、プロジェクトに最良なガバナンスを用いて推進することが求められます。
また、プロジェクトマネージャーとして、スコープ、スケジュール、品質を維持するための方法、必要なリソースの管理、プロジェクト費用の予実管理、リスク管理、全体のコミュニケーション管理等PMBOKに定めるプロジェクト管理方法に則り、プロジェクトの目的を達成する役割を担い、目標を達成するためにさまざまなマネジメント業務を行うことが求められます。また、プロジェクトチームメンバーだけではなく、ステークホルダー（利害関係者）との信頼関係や協力関係を結ぶ役割も求められます。取り巻く環境の変化により、柔軟なスコープの変更管理、運用モデルの変更に伴う、組織モデルの変更、様々なソフトウェアの開発技法（ウォーターフォール、アジャイル等）を理解した、プロジェクト管理が求められます。 |

- Experience in leading large-scale or medium-scale projects with system development as a project/program manager
- Stakeholder Management - Team player with good communication skills, able to work effectively with team members of all levels across regions and time zone
- Execution - Detail oriented and structured approach to prioritization, analysis, planning, and reporting. Able to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure to deliver high quality results.
- Motivation - Strong desire to achieve agreed goals, which enables you to set high standards for yourself and others.
- Language proficiency - Native level Japanese and fluency in English. Good Japanese writing and communication skills essential.
- Strong communication and cultural understanding especially of Japanese; writing reports and preparation of the presentation in Japanese or translating into Japanese
- Office Tools - Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
- High ethical standards
- プロジェクトマネージャーとして中規模／小規模システム開発を伴うプロジェクトをリードした経験、若しくは、大規模プロジェクトにメンバーとして参画した経験
- ステークホルダーマネジメント − 優れたコミュニケーションスキルを持ち、地域やタイムゾーンを超えてあらゆるレベルのチームメンバーと効果的に作業できるチームプレーヤー
- 実行 − 優先順位付け、分析、計画、報告に対するアプローチが詳細指向で構造化されている。マルチタスクをこなし、複数のプロジェクトを管理し、高品質の成果を出すというプレッシャーの下で働くことができる。
- モチベーション − 合意された目標を達成したいという強い願望により、自分自身と他人に高い基準を設定できる。
- 語学力-ネイティブレベルの日本語と英語が堪能です。優れた日本語のライティングとコミュニケーションスキルが必須です。
- 日本語に関する高度なコミュニケーションと文化理解;日本語でのレポート作成とプレゼンテーションの準備または日本語への翻訳
- オフィスツール − Word、Excel、PowerPointに精通しています。
