コーポレートIT部Japan Business Services 課は国内事業向け業務アプリケーションの内製開発を担うエンジニア組織です。システムの設計・開発から運用・保守まで、システム開発の全工程を自ら行えるエンジニアを募集しています。このポジションでは、日本最大の証券ビジネスの当事者として関係者と協力しながら複数のプロジェクトを横断的に担当します。ITの専門家としてビジネスに参加し、貢献することが期待されます。

Japan Business Services, Corporate IT is an engineering organization responsible for in-house development of business applications for Japan businesses. We are seeking engineers capable of handling the entire system development process, from design and development to operation and maintenance. In this position, you will be involved in multiple cross-functional projects as a key player in the largest securities business, collaborating closely with various stakeholders. You are expected to participate in and contribute to the business as an IT expert.
Nomura's technology teams proactively adopt the latest technologies and modern development tools. You can perform efficient development using global best practices. For example, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD are already widely used. The team consists of multinational members, and communication within the team is conducted in both Japanese and English. | Responsibilities： |
- 社内ユーザー向けの Web アプリケーションの開発業務を担当していただきます。
- 開発チームの一員として、開発の全工程を担当し、適切な品質とスケジュールでシステムをデリバリーすることが責任となります。
- 自己の開発タスクの進捗と課題の管理、およびマネジメントへのレポートを行います。
- 将来的には開発リーダーを務めていただきます。
- サーバーの構築、テストの自動化、CI/CD パイプラインの構築も業務範囲に含まれます。
- リリース後の保守運用を同じチームで行います。
- L3 サポートとしてテクニカルサポートを行う必要があります。
- ビジネス部署やインフラ部署、関連システムの担当者と調整を行う必要があります。この際、日本語と英語の両方を使用します。
- 社外の協力会社との協業もあります。
- Responsible for developing web applications for internal users.
- As a member of the development team, you will oversee the entire development process and be responsible for delivering systems with appropriate quality and schedule.
- Manage progress and issues of your development tasks and report to management.
- You are expected to be a development leader in the future.
- Your scope of work will also include server setup, test automation, and CI/CD pipeline construction.
- Post-release maintenance and operations will be handled by the same team.
- Provide L3 technical support.
- Coordinate with business departments, infrastructure departments, and personnel in charge of related systems, using both Japanese and English.
- There will be collaboration with external partner companies.

- Java による Web アプリケーション開発の経験
- REST API 開発の経験
- インターネット技術、Linux OS、RDBMS の基本的な知識
- Spring Boot などのアプリケーションフレームワークの経験
- Gradle、Maven、Jenkins 等のビルドツール設定の経験
- ソフトウェア開発プロセスの理解と実践経験
- Git、GitLab、Jira 等の変更管理ツールの使用法の理解
- 開発タスクを主体的に完遂できる業務遂行能力
- 日本語でのビジネスコミュニケーション能力（読み書き、会話）JLPT N2 以上
- 英語でのビジネスコミュニケーション能力（読み書き、会話）
- 証券業界のドメイン知識を学ぶ意欲
- Experience developing web applications with Java
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Basic knowledge of internet technologies, Linux OS, and RDBMS
- Experience using application frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Experience configuring build tools such as Gradle, Maven, Jenkins
- Understanding and practical experience of software development processes
- Understanding of the usage of change management tools such as Git, GitLab, Jira
- Ability to complete development tasks independently
- Business-level Japanese communication skills (reading, writing, conversation) JLPT N2 or above
- Business-level English communication skills (reading, writing, conversation)
- Willingness to learn domain knowledge in the securities industry

- Experience with public cloud platforms, e.g., AWS
- Frontend development experience
- Experience leading mid-sized development teams (~10)
- Experience with system architecture design
- Experience writing specifications for each design phase
- Experience in quality assurance (QA)
- Experience improving development processes using CI/CD
- Problem-solving skill with the ability to propose and implement optimal business solutions as an IT professional
- Knowledge of securities operations including stocks, bonds, and derivatives
- JSDA (Japan Securities Dealers Association) Sales Representative Qualification
